A Letter from China

Joy after climbing one of many mountain passes on the Tibetan Plateau in China

We received a letter from Calle Wollgård that made us both impressed and proud:

”In 2014 I cycled from Sweden to Thailand. A journey that took me about eight months to fulfill and where I on a daily basis used everything from beanie to rain pants from Tierra.”

"The journey turned out so well, that a few years later I decided to take off to another trip on my bicycle. This time around, twice the distance, in other words, around the world."

The journey turned out so well, that a few years later I decided to take off to another trip on my bicycle. This time around, twice the distance, in other words, around the world. Since I was very happy with your products on my first journey, as much as I was fascinated by how little they suffered from wear and tear, I decided to bring the same clothes this time.

And now, here I am in a small village in China after having covered approximately 27 000 kilometers during 12,5 months, where your products once again have been used A LOT, every day to be precise. Still they appear to be practically brand new. It occurred to me that the least I can do for you is to give you a brief report from someone who has truly put your products to the test against the elements.

I have about 1,5 month left before I can say that I have actually biked around the world but I would be surprised if your products suddenly fell apart during this time.

With this email, I would like to thank you and what you do. Keep up the good work!”

"South east Serbia surprised us with views like this"

"One of all the chilly days on the Tibetan Plateau. Shortly after setting up our camp, we were surprised by the heaviest hailstorm I've ever experienced."
